Our story together began after finding common ground over a campfire. We had both been burned by religion and had our own unique journeys to discover the truth of who Jesus is and who He says we are as His children.

We’ve both traveled down dark roads in the pursuit of knowledge and a better understanding of who we are. In 2023, Taylor found himself fresh out of a failed engagement, entrenched in reformed Calvinistic theology, and confused as ever about his identity. Meanwhile, I was reading tarot cards and seeing a psychic — trying out every new age spirituality practice in the book to find out what could heal me from the restless, perfectionistic life I built for myself out of self-preservation and insecurity.

We both know what it’s like to reach the end of ourselves. God, in all His grace and mercy, pulled us out of darkness, into His light, and brought us together.

As our individual relationships with God grew, so did our understanding of the unique gifts and passions He had placed within us. We have formed the Way of Grace Mission as a way to exercise these gifts and respond to the freedom we have in Christ.

Why Way of Grace?

We believe there are people who genuinely want to know God but have become exhausted by religious expectations, contradictory teachings, and the feeling that they must somehow earn His love.

Some have walked away from church. Others are still searching, afraid to ask questions or challenge what they have been told. Many are simply longing to know the truth.

Our heart is for those people.

We believe the freedom Jesus spoke of is worth seeking with our whole hearts. Not freedom built on our own opinions, not a spirituality that asks us to look within ourselves for salvation, and not a religion built on outward performance—but freedom grounded in the truth of God's Word and the grace made available through Jesus Christ.

Way of Grace exists to help people examine what they believe, grow in their understanding of Scripture, and come to know the character of God for themselves.
